This small low-tech device creates soft, flattering light by using a small mirror to redirect light from your camera's pop-up flash to a ceiling or wall, which reflects the light, spreading it out and softening it, for greatly improved photos. Just slip the Lightscoop over your camera's pop-up flash, follow the simple directions, and, bingo!--you can stop deleting half your pictures because of the ugly lighting.
In addition to this standard mirror, a warming mirror which adds a light amber color for more pleasing skin tones is available separately.
The Lightscoop is designed for use only with Sony DSLRs using interchangeable lenses with a pop-up, built-in flash--the flash on point-and-shoot cameras isn't strong enough for use with the Lightscoop.
